Overview
Through various acquisitions, a client environment consisted of over 17 Active Directory forests, each with a discrete workstation SOE and operational procedures. The client brief was to consolidate the environment into a single platform (Microsoft AD) to realize operational and support advantages. A single SOE was also a requirement.
Solution
Analysis into the existing environment allowed a current-state picture to be drawn up which informed the target-state architecture. Transitional steps were developed with the client and implementation realized the end-state as required.
