Investigations into the existing storage fabric highlighted a SAN that was not suited to the multiple workloads being run against it. The recommendation was to uplift the SAN storage array to one that was capable to support the IOPS and multiple workloads. Other valued technologies were storage tiering and reporting.A tendering process and subsequent recommendation to the client led to the acquisition of an HP 3Par array.The implementation of the array was scoped and we were further engaged to develop a technical architecture for implementation and migration.
